ISLAMABAD: Pakistani officials prep up to attend the Heart of Asia (HoA) ministerial conference being held in Amritsar, India this weekend on 3rd-4th December. Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz called Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and briefed him on the meeting.

The Heart of Asia-Istanbul Process (HoA) was founded on Novembe
r 2nd, 2011 in Istanbul, Turkey. It aims for sincere and results-oriented regional co
operation by placing Afghanistan at its centre, in recognition of the fact that a secure and stable Afghanistan is vital to the prosperity of the Heart of Asia region.
The participants include Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, China, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Pakistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates.
