LAHORE: Fatima Memorial Hospital’s (FMH) Nephrology department held a kidney camp on ‘World Kidney Day’ to create awareness among the general public on kidneys’ importance for our overall health and to reduce the number of kidney diseases.
All the patients were clinically diagnosed and given free consultation by specialists in the field.

Most patients are dialysed twice a week, which takes around 8 hours per week and certain d
ialysis machines have been dedicated exclusively for Hepatitis C patients. Around 7,000 d
ialysis are done annually at FMH, out of which 50 percent are either free of cost or at subsidise
d rates.
